We are huge Harry Potter fans in our house. My son and I read all of the books in the Harry Potter series together before we took him to Universal Studios Florida for the first time, and we’ve been obsessed ever since. With Harry Potter’s birthday coming up at the end of July, I thought this was as good of a time as ever to share these Harry Potter coloring sheets. Kids of all ages will love to magically transfer their favorite characters from black and white outlines to colorful characters with just your choice of art materials! Print out these free pages at the bottom of this post as a perfect option of an activity to do alongside these Harry Potter games! You could even put them at the end of this Harry Potter scavenger hunt as part of the surprise!
What’s in these coloring pages
There are ten different free printable coloring pages in this set. They include many of the main characters including of your the beloved character Harry Potter, along with some of the images from iconic scenes in the Harry Potter books like Hedwig, brooms, the golden snitch, Triwizard cup, and more. Each of the printable pictures is a full sheet of coloring with some having more intricate details than others for older kids but definitely with options that are good for younger Harry Potter fans too!
How to Use These Harry Potter Coloring Pages
These would be a perfect choice for a Harry Potter birthday party, a movie night, or just some entertainment on a rainy day when you want to escape to the magic world of Harry Potter. Just grab some art supplies – I always like to give a variety of options from classic colors to radiant options as well as materials so people can choose! It’s a great way to let people be creative while all doing the same activity! I mean who doesn’t want to escape to the wizard world every once in a while (minus the dark lord, Lord Voldemort,of course). I would love to check out all the amazing wizard wheezes and do my own explorations of Hogwarts castle! I keep waiting for them to build one in Hogsmeade at Universal’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I mean, how amazing would that be?? Or something like Disney’s Galactic Starcruiser Hotel but for Harry Potter. These also make an excellent gift or at least a good addition to a gift along with other great Harry Potter items like this sorting hat or this book full of pages of magical creatures! Or you even do something fun like action figures of Harry Potter characters like Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy, and Luna Lovegood!
